Books and Barks! Reading Program

booksbarksThe Auburn Public Library is proud to partner with the Lee County Humane Society for a new reading program– “Books and Barks!” The Books and Barks Kickoff will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 10 a.m. on the Library Lawn. Join us for fun, games, and a Lee County Humane Society adoption event.

On the first Monday of each month September through May, 10 children ages 6-12 (with a parent or guardian) can come read a book of their choice to a dog. Sessions will be one hour long from 3pm to 4pm.

At the end of each reading session, the reader will be rewarded a certificate to turn in at the Auburn Public Library for a prize!
