LCHS Kennel Club
The Kennel Club allows donors to sponsor kennel areas and be recognized on a perpetual plaque in the shelter. For a minimum donation of $500, you can have your name (or memorial) featured on the plaque for one year. Your donation will help provide food, water, shelter, basic medical care, and more for the animals housed in our kennels.
The Kennel Club was established in memory of Christine Meir, who was known as a rescuer of animals. Meir adopted from LCHS, fostered, nursed ailing animals, and is described by friends as someone who “embodied the spirit of the LCHS’s dedication to providing animals with the care they need and finding forever homes for the animals who enter their doors.” LCHS is honored and grateful to be included in this initiative to honor Meir’s memory.
